Privacy

Account details (email) when you sign up; photos you upload and designs you create; order details when you purchase (handled by Shopify); and basic usage data that helps us run and improve the site.

Uploaded photos are stored privately and used only to create your canvas. They are never shared publicly and never used for advertising. Photos and AI prompts are processed by trusted service providers (including Google's AI services) solely to generate and moderate your design. We keep raw uploaded photos for up to 90 days after your order ships (or 90 days after upload if you don't order), then delete them. Your finished designs stay in your account so you can reorder.

Designs you create are private to your account unless you choose to share them to the public gallery.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your photos or designs to train AI models.

We share data only with service providers needed to run the store: payment and order processing (Shopify), hosting and storage (Supabase), and AI generation/moderation providers. Each receives only what it needs.

Email support@yourneedlepoint.com to request deletion of your photos, designs, or account, and we'll take care of it.

Our services aren't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

If we update this policy we'll change the effective date above.

We use Google Ads to advertise Your Needlepoint on Google Search. To measure whether those ads work, we place a Google advertising tag on our website. This tag sets cookies in your browser that allow Google to recognize that a visit to our site came from one of our ads, and to tell us when a visit resulted in a purchase.

What this means in practice:

• We can see that an ad led to a sale. We do not receive your name, email address, or any other identifying information from Google through this tag.
• Because our checkout is hosted by Shopify on a separate domain, these cookies also allow the visit and the purchase to be recognized as the same session across both sites.
• Google may use this information in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at any time through Google's Ads Settings at myadcenter.google.com, or by using your browser's cookie controls to block third-party cookies. Blocking these cookies will not affect your ability to design, order, or receive a canvas.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use these tools to build advertising profiles of our customers.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people move through our site — which pages get visited, how long people stay, and where they leave. This helps us find the parts of the design process that are confusing and fix them.

What we collect through this tool:

• Pages visited and the order they were visited in, how long each visit lasted, and whether the visit came from a search, an ad, or a direct link.
• General technical information such as browser, device type, and approximate location based on IP address. This is not precise location and does not identify you.
• We do not send your name, email address, uploaded photos, or the designs you create to Google Analytics. Your designs stay in our own systems.

Google processes this information on our behalf in accordance with its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Opting out will not affect your ability to design, order, or receive a canvas.
